I bought this box for my new Stihl Farm Boss 271 , because I don't like Stihl's box . These are stackable and able to carry all essentials , oil mix ,bar oil , plug , manual , files , ect. Great value + easy to put together . Only con was Huskavarna name was printed up-side down on scabbard . Highly recommend this box , just double check that your saw will fit . Great protection for my chainsaw!

I wish my Husqvarna 455 had come with a case like this! Now, since I bought this case, I can protect my saw while travelling and for storage. Shipping was fast, assembly was easy too! This case is sturdy plastic. My only issue is that the handle comes off too easy. Read full review

My MS311 saw

I really like this enclosure, but of course I had to modify it to fit my saw (just a bit around the scabbard cutout to fit my dual dog setup). I also like how it has all the additional features including the oil and spare 2 cycle mix and it has plenty of room for all of the other accessories that I have. In short I'm very pleased with this box. Two thumbs up!

MS 390 fits -- mostly

I bought this for my Stihl 390 as the description indicated it would fit and I couldn't find a better, less expensive alternative. I liked this could have stuff stacked on top of it and, with the bar removed, the blade extension can be removed and a plug inserted in that spot. My primary warning is that if you plan to keep the blade installed, be prepared to really push hard to get it to fit and close -- it does, without damage to box/saw...just barely. The handle is about 1/2" too wide/deep for the box. Cutting the inside layer of the plastic box just around the handle rub point might help...not sure. Anyway, good box, 390 will fit, albeit tightly.Read full review

if the case was a bit longer you could set a 24" bar inside for storage as large as the thing is what would be a another inch or two? as it is even with a 20" bar you have to use the scabbard meaning that using it as a neat compact way to store a saw off season is impossible. while it can carry the saw with the bar attached then it is just odd shaped as hell and you still need to tie it down in the back of a truck to prevent damage to the bar. so it's OK but being that it is recycled clown plastic 50 bucks is kind of expensive for what it is.
