Very good for the price
I have only flown this a couple of times indoors, manually, and outdoors using gps.
I have flown it only once outdoors in quite windy conditions. It performed very well, being able to hold its position excellently in spite of the wind.
Used the Return to Home twice which was faultless.
It was very quiet in operation which really surprised me.
I loved the First Person View screen with drone telemetry. I kept my eye on the drone's battery state and landed it fairly soon after it showed red (empty). It landed without a problem.
Took some video which was OK but not top quality but I didn't expect it to be with just a 720p camera. Would probably be quite a bit better with better lighting and smoother air.
My only reservation is that it has brushless motors and so don't know how long they will last and if a motor failure would cause the drome to be damaged or lost. My experience with other brushless drones is that they tend to show a motor failure on take-off preventing you from doing much damage, rather than failing in flight, I have yet to find out with the H502S. I have bought some spare motors in readiness. I had to wait several weeks for delivery of these as spares mostly seem to come direct from China.
I couldn't really assess battery duration as the windy conditions would have put more load on the battery thus shortening the duration.
So far I am very pleased with it and would certainly recommend it as great fun and easy to fly, and an excellent cheap entry level drone.Read full review

Great Product
This is a fantastic machine and does everything it says on the tin, such as hover, return home and follows you. However, after only about ten flights (in an open field) since I got it, the front left motor has stopped working. So I have now had to order a replacement motor and will then have the job of taking the drone apart (loads of tiny screws to remove/refit) and solder the new motor wires in place - not great. The few write ups I have seen on the internet all say that the motors are poor and not durable, on what is a great drone when it is flying.Read full review

Fun for pigeons....
Great fun for all and for not alot of money. I bought mine to chase pigeons and doves away. They hate it as much as I hate them. Wish it could take the weight of a gun Lol. Just a pain waiting for batteries to recharge and make sure you get the rechargable transmitter battery version cos it eats AA batteries. The video quality is dreadful. Not bad for the money
Great entry level quadcopter with gps and follow me, needs a calm day to fly it outside though. Recommend getting a second battery as well to extend flying time.
