Huawei MediaPad M3 Lite 32GB, Wi-Fi, 8 inch Tablet - Grey

Good value, very comfortable to hold

Obviously it's a budget model but, that said, it's pretty good, the screen is perfectly good for gaming or watching media, throws out a decent volume. Battery isn't the greatest in the world but far from being the worst, will do 3-4 hours of continue use/casula gaming and I usually use it at home so no problem to plug it in. I'd want something a bit feistier if I was using it for work etc but it's fine for a pad to pick up and fiddle with at home.

Its size and aspect ratio makes it very comfortable to hold in one hand which I really like and also makes reading docs or books on it more comfortable. It's reasonably lightweight, you can hold it for hours without it becoming uncomfortable.

Obviously, Huawei's bloatware that you can't remove is annoying, I just add a new launcher so at least I don't have to look at their repellent home screen and try to block off as much 'phoning home' and background draining as I can. I get a horrendous echo on video calling for some reason.

Still, quibbles aside, this is really good value for money and perfect for having beside you on the couch.

Huawei T3 lite

I bought this tablet to replace a nexus 7 that had passed it's best . I really only use this for work reading the news the odd catching up with TV. And you tube music video. The quality of the screen is excellent it's very quick the sound quality is excellent. It's a good size I cycle to work so it's light to carry . Battery life is good . I have give 4 Stars because it runs Android 7 I won't update to 8 and alledgly Huawei do not intend to update the software.Read full review
