Huawei every time for me

When I received this MiFi i did expect it to need setting up, well i was wrong, i fitted the sim card in and switched it on and it just worked, and thats a first i have had that did this without any problems. It is a good unit and it is 4G so it should be ok for a while anyway until 4G is also dropped, (which is why i had to purchase a new MiFi) My last one was also a Huawei and it was reliable for years so i expect this to be no different. It is fast and holds the signal quite well so far as ive not noticed any drop outs. The only thing I dont like about it is the fact that it is difficult to keep a check on whether it is on or connected because it only has 2 led lights on it that go off after a period of time so unless you are using it, you dont know if its on or off or connected without pressing the button again. Apart from that its a brilliant unit and im glad i decided to stick with Huawei and didnt go for one of the cheaper Chinese unbranded ones that ive had in the past that are more trouble than they are worth. Great little Wi-Fi router

I had an old 4G smartphone set up as my Wi-Fi portal for a while. It worked in the room where it was installed but didn't have much range & limited reception as the network signal is also poor in my area. This new router has been a real find! 😎👍🏽
Three network has been removed & substituted by a Giff Gaff/O2 sim in the Huawei router. The result is a decent network signal & powerful distribution to every room in the house. Just great! Seems to be good item. Only thing I found odd was how to load the sim. Not same as other items I have had using sims. Need to raise metal part where sim goes, slide sim in, close it and then slide whole unit slightly to lock.Read full review
