A substantial and easy to use spray gun.

This was bought to replace an old multi spray gun which had started leaking badly. The metal connector fits well to the hose and should last longer than a plastic one. Poor quality at an expensive price

The advert said it was made of metal. The only metal part was the hose connector. There was a bad leak from the trigger. It was expensive compared to the basic models for no obvious region and was badly made and designed. To get to the washer which was leaking you have to remove the trigger by force making it easy to break the lugs in the handle, which I did.Read full review

I already have one and found that it was really great to use. Now I have one for the front garden and one for the back. Just saves me changing each time. Really good quality, well worth the money. Learned a good lesson over the winter...never leave a spray gun still attached to your hose in the frosty weather ..it splits!
Needed to buy new spray gun and these, when they came, are ideal...sturdy and a good make. I have used one of them without any problems so happy to recommend them to anyone. The other one is my standby gun...just in case I forget to bring the hose inside in the winter again!Read full review

Solidly built with excellent features.

This spray gun has an excellent choice of settings that are easy to change with the outer swivel ring. I particularly like the fine mist setting for seedlings and the 'flat' spray that can be used to sweep paths and patios. There is also a pressure reduction control which is good for watering pot plants without blasting them. It feels very solid with the metal build and does not leak or drip at the connection while using. A big improvement on the cheaper all plastic model. They all leak in the end. Hozelock make replacement parts!!

Not as heavy as my other Hozelock, but think that one might have cost more. So far, it has only been a week, so I can't say if it won't start leaking as my other one did. It lasted about two and a half years, but started leaking within a year, however, I think they all leak eventually, its the nature of water pressure on plastic parts.
One thing I would say is that Hozelock could sell replacement parts and it would save on landfill waste. Some washers and a new plastic front and that would have solved the problem. What's the point of having a really heavy duty item that costs more than a cheaper one, if you are not going to be able to replace some parts when they break.Read full review

Really disappointing and a waste of money

Initially seemed very good with adjustable pressure setting and different spray patterns, but fell apart in under 3 weeks despite careful handling. The plastic section connecting the spray gun to the hose snap adaptor has sheared off, being too flimsy for the weight of the spray gun. It is not repairable.Read full review
