Compact corner microwave

This is my second one of these curved microwave ovens,my first one was a whirlpool this one a hotpoint same company i thinks, same microwave apart from this one has two knobs one for the five power settings and one for the timer the whirlpool had a digital display.The first one lasted about four years of daily use which isn't bad that's why i bought another and the fact that it fits in the corner of my work top which has limited space.I don't know why other companies don't make this type of microwave as i think they're great,it takes a full size dinner plate and seems to heat up food as quick as a higher wattage oven.The only thing i think hotpoint should have done is put a white marker point on the two knobs so you can see where they are and not just an indentation,i guess a bit of tippex would cure that though other than that it heats cooks defrosts and keep food warm in a limited space what's not to like.Read full review

Great corner fitter, super smooth easy clean, perfect cooking, pity about the knobs.

Robust,well made, operates and cooks perfectly, fits well into corner as electronics are in the base.
Superbly smooth easy to clean surfaces throughout
Fan a little loud.
Knobs difficult to use.
Control knobs are poor, both knobs are small and absolutely round and slippy, the time knob is difficult to grip and quite stiff. The index marks on the knobs are invisible being small obround depressions on the face with no white infill.
I have replaced the time knob with one from my old microwave which has a thumb grip and engraved and filled new index marks.on both knobs.
I now find it great to use and easy and quick to set, far quicker and easier than digital.Read full review

Bigger than expected

Taller and bigger then i thought with nice amount of room inside. Dials are easy and simple to operate with no fuss.
(Mark the dial with a white marker if its hard to see for some)

GREAT COMPACT MICROWAVE

Really pleased with my Microwave, it doesn’t take up lots of work surface is quiet and seems to cook as quickly as my previous one although it has less power. I personally find the rotating dials fiddly and need two hands to turn them but I do have arthritis, doesn’t stop me loving this Microwave though. At one stage I thought it wasn’t working properly but it seems it has sensors that detect if it is positioned to close to the wall, just move fractionally and away it goes. Curved compact but

Curved and compact as big as my previous one but much lighter in weight every time I open the door the whole thing moves and the dials are a pain .The dots are so small and the dials themselves I find difficult to turn .lt was cheap but I’m not cheerful Read full review
