Great milk frother! :-)
I did a lot of research on milk frothers before making my purchase and this Hotpoint milk frother seemed like the best one. I love it. It holds enough for two drinks whereas others only hold enough for one. It's very easy to clean and is dishwasher safe. It heats/froths milk up to 85 degrees. All of the other frothers I looked at only heat it to 65 degrees and that's not hot enough for my needs. It also has a cold cycle for milkshakes. Then to top it all off it beeps when you start the cycle and again when the cycle ends.
It looks great in my kitchen and matches my other appliances. I love that I can make hot chocolate straight into the jug. I've tried it more than once and it's come out perfect. I also have a copy of the Hotpoint Milk Frother recipe booklet and it's fab and has lots of ideas. It even has recipes for vegans.
This milk frother is quite a bit more expensive than others but you get what you pay for as it's got great features. I didn't expect to be so excited about a milk frother but I am. Lol :-)Read full review

Excellent Milk Frother
This is one of the best products I have purchased and is £20 less than another virtually identical product. It is quiet in operation and there is the option to simply heat the milk or to froth it. I have used powdered milk, skimmed long life milk, soya milk, almond milk, Lacto free and full fat sterilised milk. Each of these has produced a really good froth. I have used this each day for several weeks now and cannot fault it in any way. It also both heats and froths the milk in a matter of minutes even on the highest temperature and the stainless steel jug is so quick and easy to clean. Great milk frothing machine!
Easily one of the best milk frothing machines on the market. It can heat up unttil 85°C which is the Max setting, That was the main selling point for me! also it can heat to 65°C and 40°C.
Another great thing that it is made from stainless steel so very easy to clean and doesn't have that nonstick coating that other machines have which only comes off over time. My only very minor criticism of this product is that I would have preferred if it could heat at 65,75, and 85°C , but I can understand why the 40°C for someone with a baby. Other than that, it is one of the best purchases I have made For the kitchen in the last couple of years. A Great Milk Frother
Bought this to replace my Nespresso Aerochino milk frother which had finally given up the ghost. I am so glad that I bought this machine. It is a joy to use. The milk is really hot when it is ready and quite fast in heating up. It will even use a higher temperature when making hot chocolate! The milk container lifts off for easy cleaning (Oh so easy compared to the Aerochino} and being separate from the heating unit, there is no worry that water might get into the electrics and ruin the machine. great value for money and a great machine. Easy to clean
This was a replacement for the Nespresso frother, which although I loved the frothy milk it made, it was a pain to clean.
The magnetic motor gave up on it so I did the research and chose the Hotpoint as a replacement
The Hotpoint frother has an induction motor which I hope will last longer and the cup part is so easy to clean.
All except the base can be put in the dishwasher unlike the fiddly cleaning of the not so non-stick surface of the Nespresso model. Having said that, I only give it a rinse after each use with hot water and put it in the dishwasher when it next goes on.
I would have given 4.5 stars due to the noise level as commented on other reviews. But really it is not a big deal.
If you are prepared to stand with your hand on the lid while it is working it will reduce enormously.

This is a brilliant piece of kitchen equipment. Although not an essential purchase it is certainly value for money, have used it everyday so far. Easy to use and very quick to clean and put away. Excellent product ...does what it says and more ...I would go as far as to say it makes a frothier latte than most coffee shops produce !!...best of all, not only you can use SKIMMED milk, but you can also use made up DRIED skimmed milk powder and the results are just as good!!
