New oven door seal
Great deal on new oven seal. Amazing what a different it makes. The old one looked okay when cold but when heated up it became a loose seal and let heat out.

Works..... but a fiddle to fit.
Does the job IF you can get it to stay in! This is my second replacement rubber seal and fitting has been a bit of a struggle on both occasions on my Britannia. It easily holds and stayed in place all the way round until the bottom left clip which staunchly refused to hold and the whole seal pinged out like a giant rubber band. It may be something odd about that clip hole in my oven but it takes a lot of bending of the clip until I can get it to hold but too much twisted bending of the clip and it will break. Ordered the seal as a replacement for a failed one. It arrived a little late, but forgivable, as our northern winter weather disrupted all transport.

Well, this is a Hotpoint oven door seal. Not exciting, not glamorous but pretty well essential. This one does exactly what it says on the tin.
