These are second set Sioux Chief water hammer arrest or I’ve bought and installed on different washers. I installed at back of washers and they have reduced banging/water hammer when washer solenoid quick acting valves open and shut! They work very well

I have now own 3. Our rural house uses PVC pipes and a external joint blew open when a water timer shut off abruptly. Now, there is no pounding of the pipes. I also added two of these to the washing machine hot and cold water lines. They're small but effective.Read full review

These water hammer arrestors work perfectly.

I had two of these Sioux Chief arrestors on my Maytag washer since 2016, they had begun to wear out. So, I went to a local store to buy two new ones and all they had to sell me was a different brand, I bought those and installed them and they didn't work at all. So, I started looking on Ebay and found these Sioux Chief ones, ordered them and installed them. The Sioux Chief ones work perfectly, no banging pipes, perfectly quiet.
