Hoover Enigma

Looked everywhere for a bagged upright vacuum cleaner and finally found one. I love these Hoovers and have had several over the years. This is stored away, for future use, because they’re no longer being made. EU rules mean it’s not as powerful as previous models, but it still beats most of the other brands I’ve tried for cleaning, and all of them for not being smelly! Excellent, affordable price, too.Read full review...

Hoover Enigma Evo Vacuum Cleaner.

The Hoover Enigma Evo vacuum cleaner is easy to use. However, it is very noisy - and I am hard of hearing!

The foot control to enable the vacuum cleaner to recline is hard to operate: a hard sole or shoe is necessary to operate this.

The vacuum cleaner is not substantially made: I doubt it will have a long life.

Had I realised how noisy it was, I would have returned it. But having assembled it, I couldn't be bothered to take it to pieces in order to do so.

Good Vacuum Cleaner

Bought this as it is my last chance to get a cleaner of the 'Purepower,' type. Has already been discontinued, thought i'd buy one from eBay where they can be still found.

Haven't used it yet but have faith in the Hoover Purepower brandRead full review...

Superb Bagged Vacuum

I'd wholeheartedly say anyone buying a vacuum cleaner should avoid bagless. Advertisements claim they're better but think of all that dust you breathe in when trying to empty the container plus from my experience of using them, they clearly loose suction, unless you constantly have time washing the number of nasty clogged up filters...no thanks not for me!.
I bought the Hoover Enigma Evo, an early Xmas present for Pri (lol) upright bagged cleaner, it's brilliant with no loss of suction, cleans very well, long hose and 4lt bags last ages. Only criticism I have is could be more powerful.

Hoover Vacuum Cleaner

It is very quiet but does not seem to have as much power as my last Hoover. Ideal for bedroom carpets, but not for carpets that need more suction.
