Great wireless thermostat

A great wireless unit, but it would have been nice to also supply a wall holster as it’s only portable use is via a desk stand. Other than that the wireless transmitter is screwed to the wall, which somewhat defeats the object. Also note that the receiver needs a 4-wire connection to an S-Plan or Y-Plan box. 4 core cable can be a little hard to find as our plumbers and electrical shops didn’t stock. I found some 5 -core heat resistant cable at Wickes that did the job. There should be suppliers on eBay too.Read full review

Good Kit but Rubbish Instructions

Works fine, but the standard of setup instructions is very poor. Sorting out the english from the foreign is one thing, but the way they try to refer to drawings, sequence of doing things is very confusing.
Once setup it work absolutely fine, and seems to have a much closer switching tolerance to small temperature changes than any other stats I've used. The instructions are worth persevering!Read full review

Keeping the grandparents warm

Brilliant - instant replacement

This was to replace the identical model that failed after 5 odd years in service.
Trickiest part was opening the relay unit plastic catch with a screwdriver.
After that it was really simple to leave the back-plate and all the wiring in place and just clip in the new front panel.
Same with the thermostat itself - just unclip old failed one, clip in the new.
Remember to remove the plastic shim at end of battery - and voila! it just works.Read full review
