Problem solved!
Our alarm system is 18 years old and has two control panels. One of them is this 6160RF model designed to communicate with various wireless sensors around the house. Unfortunately, something failed in our unit that caused it to loose communications with all the sensors, even though it still worked for displaying messages and turning the system on and off, etc. This replacement unit dropped right in and was able to locate all the wireless sensors again.
