Quick fix if on a tight budget

If your like me and dont have the time to leave you car in a garage all day with the potential of having a big bill at the end of it this is the product for you. Quick and easy to do - no real knowledge of cars needed. It states takes 15-25min to work - for me it took about 45mins. All seems to be ok for the moment and no more coolant topping up and staying at temperature - temporary fix for now - all ok.Read full review

It works!

Sealed leaking heater matrix o-rings on my range range rover p38, which are a nightmare job to replace, 2 years later and they still don't leak. As far as I'm aware no other similar type sealant claims to seal rubber type joints. It's had no adverse effect on any other part of the cooling, looking at the antifreeze coolant in the expansion tank , you can't tell it's in the system.Read full review

Radweld. Worked a treat!

Used on sons Corsa to fix a small mystery leak that couldn't be found. Not something I would usually use but we just couldn't find the problem. Worked perfectly - no more loss of coolant.

'Does what it says on the tin'

I have owned the car I used this product for 26 years.

In all that time, I had to regularly top up the water due to leakage.
I had tried similar products but to no avail, the leak would consistently return.

Since installing this product I have not experienced any loss of water and therefore would recommend it's use if you have a leak in your radiator.

It works

Having a blown cylinder head gasket and a leaking heater matrix on my Vauxhall needed a cheep fix. I tried various other products, some three times the price of Holts sealit , with limited success . However after a system flush to remove a previous product tried Holts sealit and within a day both leaks fixed Early days as only two weeks have passed but no leaks or top up needed so far Has done what more expensive products could notRead full review

Easy to use, and worked first time

After three visits to my local garage, and getting a bill for over £300, my old four wheel drive was still using water.
As a last resort, I used this Holts product, and it worked! I wish that I'd used it first...
I followed the instructions to the letter, which was not difficult, but took a little time, and it has not lost any water since.
Really pleased with the result.

Diss appointed, looks like a reconditioned engine next.

My Nissan V6 2L engine has bubbles appearing in the coolant. The coolant boils on long journeys or on hill climbs.

SEALIT was added directly to the radiator and the engine was allowed to idle for 30minutes.

A check on the coolant showed bubbles appearing as before, no improvement.
