Went into standby mode after 10 mins.

Bought this Hitachi mainly out of brand loyalty as I worked for Hitachi for several years. It arrived very promptly and as described there where some minor scuff marks. The problem was that after 10 minutes it went into standby mode and had to be switched off for at least fifteen minutes to get it going again. Was offered a USB stick to load the latest upgrade as I was told there was an issue with the HDMI input on this model. However after trying it on other inputs the same problem occurred. Contacted supplier and was sent a returns label and the unit was collected and a credit was raised. For the brief time it did function I noticed that even on full volume the sound level was quite low.Read full review
