This iron was purchased mainly due to the fact that I needed a new iron and seeing the price I decided to buy it. I am not disappointed. It looks nice, is easy to fill and heats up quickly. It has three steam settings and a chrome sole plate. It is also very light. The only slight drawback is that to ensure a constant supply of steam the button on the iron has to be held down. This is value for money

When our very much more expensive steam generator iron went kaput it was decided to get as cheap as possible especially if a new one is needed every so many years. Early days just yet but the signs are excellent. It does as well as our last iron did which cost three times the price plus this is more compact so is easier to stow away and has a variety of settings - digital too. How long it will last is anybody's guess but these steam contraptions have a boiler shelf life anyway.

This is an identical replacement

I bought this replacement because, stupidly, I hadn't realised that it had a filter which needed changing. I must have used the first one for almost two years before it began leaking so the filter doesn't need changing often - although we're not a big family, only the two of us. I looked at various other, far more expensive irons, and was not impressed by any of them. Most of them were very heavy, this one is lightweight. Piss poor iron

Iron was delivered in terrible condition. The packaging was ripped and full of holes, not to mention a thick layer of dust caked on the box. The iron itself had a thick layer of calc stuck the inside. I understand it's second stock but at least make sure it's clean and usable for sale. I had bought this as a gift but now I see I can buy a better one from the charity shop for £5.Read full review
