Too much power on a 2240

Does its job exceptionally well but don't buy it until you have access to a chrono. Took my 2240 quite far over 6ft/lbs.
The product itself is great, fits perfectly if you have a steel breech and it was a power boost I was after. Unfortunately for me it just went a bit too far.
I'd highly recommend it for a 2250 though. Read full review

This port seals so much better.
I did have to file down a little as it was too long with the gmac breech, perfect in the standard breech though. Easy to fit and definitely makes a big improvement.<br>You seriously need to chronograph after fitting, sent a stock 2240 @ 5.2 ftlbs straight over the limit! No other mods. Had to remove a few coils off the hammer spring to bring it within UK limits.Read full review

Transfer port

Did require the length to be fettled to fit my steel breech, did a little before and after power test. Shot a paper catalogue at 10mtrs with the new port it'll penetrate 90 pages deeper. Makes the gun even louder may be a problem if pinking in the garden. Fitted a silencer to mine almost whisper quite now.Read full review

Simple but effective

I've used these on a 2240 and a 1377 and they fit perfectly with a Crosman steel breech. With no other power mods, they allow for enough under 6 ft/lbs on a 2240 to be comfortable. On a 1377 you can get away with less pumpsRead full review

Nearly perfect

Seals brilliantly and seriously helps, with a hot valve, to increase power. However, as with numerous other customers i needed to slightly shorten the brass valve to fit a 2240, pretty sure it would have crushed if id have put it in as supplied, this should be addresed by the manufacturer as i notice a lot of other customers mention this as well, apartnfrom that works brilliantly, its litterally 0.5mm that needs removingRead full review

The Best

The best ideas are always the simple ideas. A brass tube inside a slightly longer outer rubber tube, makes not only the seal on the air tube side but also the barrel side as well. Larger diameter than standard transfer ports and a better seal makes for more efficient air flow and a resultant lift in power. Always re-check your guns after ANY modification to ensure they still fall inside legal power limits.

Easy to fit did need to shave a tiny bit of one end to fit 2240 only a very small bit I put the old t.p side by side to see how much needed to come off but am happy with the performance good product.
