Pencil marker
I had to sharpen them and the pink one just keeps breaking . They are handy and give a nice line and are easy to wipe away. Good enough for small markings.

Chalk markers
Arrived quickly, and certainly cheap enough. Having 3 colours a good idea. The pens are quite hard though, you have to really press hard to get a line, so I don't think they would be suitable for delicate fabrics. The brushes aren't really necessary, as you can just use a finger to brush the lines away, and the rough plastic brushes again wouldn't be great on anything delicate. Shame they don't come with lids, as the brushes don't fit tightly on either end.Read full review

Good idea but did not work in practice
Sorry to be negative but did not have success with these pencils. Even sharpening the white one did not make it mark the fabric well enough for me to follow the lines. Had to go back to my tailor's chalk which is really too thick. I thought the pencils would be a good alternative but was disappointed.Read full review

Needed some pencils for more detailed marking...waste of money, get more of a mark from slabs of chalk. agree with a previous reviewer about the blue one...managed to make a mark with it only to have to really scrub material to remove it. Lids with brushes...well lids do not fit on pencils and brushes are useless and wouldn't remove a thing. Already in the bin.Read full review

The pencils come with erasers that do not fit on the pencil ends and are completely useless. The chalk marker is good.

Chalk pencils
Sorry to say these chalk pencils didn’t work well on the quilt I was trying to make and when the blue pencil did finally leave a mark, it was very difficult to remove.

Not up for the job
Pencils are like children’s crayons, far to small in length - nothing of them. The brush ends do not fit the ends of the pencils, they just fall off. No where near as good as traditional tailors chalk. If you have a lot of marking out to do the pencils are just too small and the quality is just not there.
