cheaply made redesign of a classic childrens board game

Game pieces are way too big for squares on board. This is a problem when 2 or 3 pieces land on same square This takes away from the fun of playing.

Almost Classic...But Not Quite

Nice game that appears to be the travel-size version of the beloved Classic game. Only 3 folks can play (versus the usual 4), and the illustrations have been modernized a bit, looking much zanier than the original. That said, something is lost in translation here, as the pictures take away some of the impact of the ladder or chute you go down, making it less visceral (and less relatable), as a result. Consequences are of no real consequence here, so any potential lessons learned from doing "good" or "bad" are gone. Still, a good game for a vacation by car, plane, boat or otherwise; the compact size makes this a good time virtually anywhere!Read full review
