This was great value for money. Plenty sturdy enough for storing heavy items. Build quality feels good and the drawers are smooth to open and soft to close. There were no signs of damage or scratches etc. which some cheaper models sometimes get during ether construction or transit - the standard product packaging is fairly hefty so I doubt it would ever get damaged in transit.Read full review

Drawers could have been higher

Drawers in comparison are shallower than other products and until you use the product this isn’t noticeable

Also the smaller drawers don’t stay closed - they open slightly !

A really great set of drawers.

I bought this as I needed a somewhere to store all of my craft items and this is perfect. The top where the lid is fits taller stand and inks ect. The small drawers are perfect for packets of beads or reels of cotton and the large deep bottom drawer is also deep enough for lots of items. So even if you do t want this for tools then you could and will find a use for this item. It came on time and was packaged perfectly and came in pristine condition.Read full review

Excellent value.

I'm very pleased with this toolbox at its price.
It arrived well protected in a strong cardboard package with expanded foam corner packing to isolate it from transit bumps. Hence it emerged unblemished.
I had feared that it may be a little flimsy - but it seems very solid on first examination.
I wouldn't want it to be much heavier, if I am to be able to lug it about once it is full...
Drawer slides and locking mechanism are simple and seem effective. Drawer liners are nothing speial but also do their job adequately.

Robust and good quality for the money

Great if you have a shelf or work surface you want to make better use of and store your tools better.

All the drawers have sliders and soft inserts in the bottoms. I don't use the locking bars, but the chest comes supplied with a couple of bars that slide in through the top and lock the drawers in place when the top lid is locked down.

If you're expecting Snap-on quality you'd probably be disappointed but excellent value for the price.Read full review

Hardcastle toolbox

Despite being inexpensive it's well made and includes draw liners. Draws run smoothly and it's fully lockable. My only complaint is that the base is slightly twisted, so it rocks a little on a flat surface..but it's a minor issue.
