The paint goes on well and covers reasonably, it certainly seems to bond with the surface but only time will tell whether it is very durable. So far am very pleased with the product.

Hammerite Galvanise Paint
It does what it says on the tin. I prefer at least 2 coats for a solid colour and it works for me. There is an argument that galvanise should not be painted but doing it with this stuff reduces rust stains some years down the line so I do it.Read full review

Hammerite silver
Used this on some zinc galvanised plant pots that were looking a bit fed up. The first attempt with a paint brush showed that the paint is gloopy with a brush. Used a roller over the top of first coat and it looked fantastic - like new zinc but maybe more zingy. Don't know how they'll be after a year but they seem to be holding fine and the pots are now showing off my winter pansies to perfection.Read full review
