Cheap n cheerful
Unless you are building a performance machine (which i wasnt) then you dont have to go crazy with expensive thermal compound. Used when replacing a CPU from an AIO machine in a office. Not only was the new processor faster but with the compond it dropped 15c in temp. Doesnt sound like a jet taking off now. Been working well for over a month, cant complain. After seeing such good reviews of this thermal paste and comparing it to arctic or thermal grizzy paste it was a no brainer to get this one over the more expensive ones right , I mean it does the same job right? WRONG!. Lord help you if you used this stuff like I did , I had loads of consoles and PC's that needed servicing and I used this paste in all of them simply because a bigger tube meant that I didn't have to buy 8 x 4g tubes of arctic paste but God is this stuff bad. All the console fans began screaming from the amount of heat my pc temps were in the mid 50's with aio water coolers. Initially I thought I did something wrong so I went through the effort of opening everything back up and cleaning this stuff (extremely difficult to clean btw) and then reapplying this but with the same result. By this time I had ran out of the paste so I decided to just get arctic this time and stick to what I used to use , god I saw the difference instantly. Not a single machine acted up when I repasted them.
Terrible story I know but the moral is just buy arctic or thermal grizzy paste , I know it costs a bit more but it's 100% worth it after my experience with this garbage.

I've used it on a few things now and it works.
Don't know how it compairs to the big name brands but for little SOC projects it's more than good enough.

It's a very big syringe and i have used it on mabey 20 chips now and I've used about 5% of the paste at a guess.

Normally when ordering this product one receives a miniscule amount that last's no time at all , and usually for much more than this product cost . I wanted to replace the thermal conduction from CPU to heatsink with something of good quality during a service on a desktop unit.
After being an Arctic Silver fan for years I chose to have a look about and found this on eBay. So I took a shot and I'm impressed.
The system previously ran at around 34 degrees centigrade at idle, and around 45 under max load. With a simple change to the HY610 it's idling at 23 degrees and 35 degrees under load!
Straight out of the tube that is majorly impressive and given the quality of feel to the thermal grease I expect it will continue to perform extremely well.
Packaged with a grease removal wipe and pliable spreader nozzle, it's simply fantastic value, and will do a fair amount of jobs before you need another tube too!
Forget silver because with this, you've truly struck gold. An awesome and highly recommended product :)Read full review
