Used printer problems

Ink cartridges very low need to be replaced soon. One was HP, other off-brand. Error msg on printer screen says "printer ink door open". If pressure put down on printer top the message goes off. Located where the switch is, and added some material (JB Weld 1/8 inch) to the switch activation rod which fixed the problem. This is something that should have been noticed when the unit was supposed to be checked out.

I was unable to use it.

Unfortunately, when I lifted up the printer out of the box, the packing was loose and, in trying to straighten it out, I tripped, the printer fell onto the floor and a number of pieces broke and I was unable to get them back in place. The printer, at this point, was damaged and unusable. Too bad for me. I wasn't able to try it out so can't say if it was in good shape or not.Read full review
