Replacing my older extractor fan
This was to replace an older Greenwood Airvac of the same type but older and was getting noisy. The design of the new one is an improvement on the older model I replaced and so I’m very satisfied.

Good value too noisy
This extractor fan fitted into the old space perfectly, was easy to install but it's still on the noisy side for me. Some of the other modern fans run at 20 decibels these fans are 40 plus decibels shame I couldn't find one to fit the existing hole. Does the job well though as the bathroom mirror doesn't even get steamed up with the fan on.Read full review

Great quality fan and easy to fit
I bought this to replace a 20+ year old R90. Although it was possible to simply remove the old fan and plug the new one into the same ceiling box, the new fan stood proud and I couldn't re-use the old grille so I finished up changing the box too. All in all, fitting was very easy and the new cover looks very good and works well.Read full review

Bought this to replace old fan model R90T. Seems to be a good replacement and easy to fit. I did notice it had a sticker saying "Greenwood" but not embossed onto the outlet as per previous model? Hope it is genuine, as it was considerably cheaper than other sites! So far so good.Read full review

Easy to fit and well made
This Extractor was an easy fit replacement for its 22 year old predecessor. The previous model was still working perfectly it was replaced purely because the plastic had yellowed after many years of use. I would look at greenwood extractors before anything else due to their longevity. Read full review

Direct replacement for 30 year old R90T
I had a 30 year old R90T, and replaced the motor 15 years ago. As this one had failed, I replaced the motor again. This model fits directly into the old pre-wired ceiling box with a single screw. This new design replaces the old grill with a cover and filter. Seeing the dust build up with the old design this is a great step forward. The frame for the filter and cover fixes directly to the old ceiling box, but you need to remove a small plastic tag on the frame (opposite corner to the screw), as the new ceiling box has a slot to receive it, and the old box does not. You could of course just replace the motor and reuse the old grill. If you are buying an extract for a new instillation, the swap out motor is a great benefit and as they have lasted for 15 years you can't ask better than that. One final point there are 3 models:- one for pull cord / Trickle (RF90A), one with over run timer (RF90TW), and one with a Humidistat (RF90HTW). (ignoring the extra low voltage Models), so make sure you get the right one.Read full review

A direct replacement which
I needed to replace the old R90T (ceiling mounted) which was approx 25 years old as it was very noisy and unsitely. The new RF90TW has the exact same aperture dimensions and is easier to fix. It saved me a lot of time & effort plus it looks better than the old model.Read full review

Replacement Airvac fan
This fan was to replace an existing 23 year old Airvac fan which was still running but the timer had broken. This fitted into the same cut-out in the bathroom ceiling, therefore, it was relatively easy to install. The instructions ,though, like many, were rather lacking in information. Read full review
