After washing your hair, just put about a quarter's worth in your hand and rub it between your hands and then through your hair and let it set. Then, just comb thru your hair. There is NO ODOR and it washes off very easily from your hands. It is also great for "touch-ups" during the day or thru that "morning hair" that we all hate. It is the best I've ever used.
