This Kay Starr is worth a listen

I have more than a few Kay Starr recordings and this one is the best of all. She recorded over a lot of years with questionable masters. The orchestra and the mixes are stellar. Just fantastic. For the life of me I cannot understand why people don't know who she is. One of the best singers of the 20th century, no caveat or qualification. Her control of notes in all registers is a humbling lesson for todays singers. No one now can do this at all or even a little bit. Kay's talent will live forever. Read full review

A star from the past!

I had anxiously awaited the CD arrival. Kay Starr had an unusual voice but not as satisfying since I've grown old! It will be a cherish addition to my other CD's, It was very much a bargain!
