Works, but for channels I like using other devices better. OK for whole screen mirroring.

The refurbished item arrived with the original owner's network info still present. It was NOT reset to factory default like it should have been. After looking up how to reset it quite a few updates were installed.

Everything you watch needs to have an app installed on your phone/tablet, so you better have room for it (Netflix, Pluto, . . . ).

Good for 4k, but make sure you have a place to plug it in

It does what I want it to - streams video in resolution up to 4k. If you have an older screen you probably don't need this, but if you have anything more modern that supports it, it's cool. The major downside is you have to get it with the original power adapter that is a wall-wart style thing with a built-in ethernet port. (This is case your wireless connection isn't good enough to stream 4k video.) I wish you could optionally use a different adapter to plug it into a dedicated 5 volt USB slot like my new tv has, but using any other power supply will result in an annoying message on the bottom of the screen and only support up to 1080p video. Don't buy this used without the original adapter, it's useless. (Unless you don't care about 4k streaming, and that's the only reason to have this, otherwise stick to an older model.) Arrived four days after ordered which includes Sunday, thus three mailing days after placing order. Aside from sticky residue on box, I’d have thought was receiving a brand new device from Google. This is my first Ultra after already having two Chromecasts. I also have a few Firesticks. Due to having a third entertainment area in my Florida room, I decided to get another. The fact that it can stream 4K content makes TV and movies so much more fun to watch! It is small, but very effective. I may just have to buy a new 4K TV to keep it company :-)
