dash cam works ok but needs "setting up"...

dash cam works ok but needs "setting up" meaning you have no way of knowing if the camera lens is facing high or low, you have to put it where you think is the right "direction" drive around, take the sd card out plug it into your computer and play back the footage, if footage is ok then just leave camera where it is on the windscreen if not then alter the camera and start again, i did it 3 times before i got it right but i am an old fart.Read full review

Very easy to use. And fit picture quality ok. But night driving not very good.only problem is that you can't alter the time and date when recording. Could be a issue if you need to make a clam or present recording to the police as will not show the exact time and date.Read full review

Don't waste your money. It is a tiny piece of rubbish

Item is described as easy to use but the problem is there is no monitor and you have to use a computer for reviewing. I personally had difficulty with the one push operation as it worked for a couple of seconds but then stopped recording. Definitely not worth the money when for a couple of pounds more you can get one with a monitor screen. In addition the camera is difficult to find a location for it as you can only stick it on the windscreen I did that and it fell off a few miles down the road. I was bitterly disappointed with the product especially as it was endorsed by Goodyear

Would not recommend, poor quality dash cam

Don't waste your money on this dash cam,
You don't know if it's recording or not.
The red recording light does not come on.
The few times it did record, it was poor quality and did not continually record.
It also interfered with my radio reception on my Mercedes car no matter where I placed the dash cam. Even when it was not attached to any part of the car.
Dash cam was returned a few weeks after the returns date because of time fitting and time using the dash cam but only received a part refund. Read full review

Low quality, very large files, lack if options/controls, but very small.

Very poor quality - not wide angle so doesn't catch enough of road (I should have checked) files are times larger than other other dashcams I have and the quality no better at all. Lack of controls means cant change clip length or sound mute etc, didnt realise how much would miss that. Comes with full cigarette lighter adapter larger than the camera - would prefer USB option these days.
Cheap stuff easily as good.

Not a very good product.

Had difficulty getting it to work! Plugged it in in the car with my usual memory chip inside and it chirped a message to say it was on but it did not record anything on the memory chip. This is the second example of a dashcam without the little tv screen and neither of them have worked very well. has it been in storage for too long before being sold?Read full review

The “camera” requires you to format the sd card as a NTFS but doesn’t work with NTFS only FAT32. The captured audio is saved as small clips and not from the duration you turn the “camera” on and off.
