Just junk

I purchased this for my 16 year old disabled grandson as he loves fishing but has a problem with casting. He sat and looked at it in the package for a month. We arrived at our fishing holiday, opened the package and the pump action didn't work, so basically we have a $100 worth of useless plastic. Live in Australia so postage to return faulty goods is not worth it. I have never been so dissatisfied with a product, my grand son was devastated, he was so looking forward to fishing on his own.

it's not that great. if your kid is just going to play with it out in the yard, then it is fine, but it doesn't work for actual fishing. the line gets tangled and if you actually catch anything you wouldn't be able to pull it in. It wouldn't even pull in a 2 lb fish it is so week. Another thing...just as a suggestion. it would be great if you could switch the handle so that a left handed child could use it as well. Great Fishing Rod

This Fishing Rod is great my son loves it - Its easy to use and he is able to work it himself - It really works! It also is less likely to get tangled up in the twigs and debris in the water because of its unique design.
