35 years later and still wearing it everyday.

I found that it suited my skin type 35 years ago, used it exclusively ever since. Picked up a customers daughter when she was six. I met her again 20 years later and she remembered my aftershave as she kissed me on the cheek. There maybe better ones out there - but I will never know! Wear it everyday. I confess I sampled the newer version - Nah.
I think I am not the only one, as the prices for this version have risen by 25% over recent years.Read full review

Wrong scent - did not want the "ORIGINAL" version.

This is the third time that I have trusted the description provided on this product
I asked for Givenchy Gentleman Eau de Toilette spray. What I received (- yet again) was the Givenchy Gentleman au de toilette "ORIGINAL" spray version, which has virtually no scent at all,
when compared to the standard version which has a powerful musk smell.
I have been forced to order on line as even the big department stores (such as Jarrolds in Norwich), no longer stock the product. Furthermore, I am too busy to take the time to return the product so can you please look into this for me!

French but without the garlic snails.

This is an old favourite of mine. I treated myself. It smells nothing like any of the current stuff I've smelt. Very classy, not even a hint of frogs legs but definitely sophisticated, uncommon yet distinctive. Raw but not intimidating. Like all things it's horses for courses. I speak only for myself. I love nice things but usually miss out by reining myself in, but this buy was actually really good value. I used not to like the spray cos it's a bit poncy. I was brought up in the age of 'enery Cooper telling us to "splash it all over"! But it lasts a lot longer as a spray. Just be careful to keep your eyes closed. Great price, great sniff, great delivery. They do it properly... you want it asap and acap... that's what I got... and not my only buy here cos the range is cornucopian.. 2 A levels in English, but not good grades. Plenty sense though.
