Really like these blades

The title says it all for me. Used Gillette blades a few year ago, then I started using an electric razor as the blades I had been using would leave my skin with razor burn. Anyway can’t really remember what happened to cause me to try the blades again but I did, and all I can say is wow, my shaving has been so much better with these blades, no more razor burn and my face feels so much better.
Gillette gets a 10 out of 10 from me, can’t see me going back to my electric razor anytime soon. Read full review

Having now tried these blades I cannot say if they are the genuine article or not ! Perhaps they are not the usual factory standard Gillette sell to major retailers and are being sold as seconds hence the lower price !!
The first blade only lasted 15 days as opposed to the normal quality Gillette blade which lasts at least 25 to 28 days. The shaves were quite rough on the skin and not the usual smooth gliding ones. I am now on my second blade and after 9 days the same thing is happening and I just know the blade will be blunt and unuseable within the next few days.
The Jury is still undecided though as I may just have been unlucky with this particular packet.
I have noticed though that the price has now gone up by £1 since I bought my pack and so this another reason why I am unable to recommend the product. Read full review

Razor blades

I don’t use them, my husband does. I just pay for them! When I was a child, my dad used single blades, one a week, had as good a shave on Saturday as he had on the previous Sunday. Nowadays I am of the opinion that the men of this world are too gullible. They have been conned into paying out vast sums of money, for something that lasts three days, at most,. But he thinks they’re good so I buy them, on EBay, because it’s cheaper. But I begrudge paying out so much of my pension!

I shave roughly 3 times a week & have thick stubble .I use Gillette Fusion5 Proglide with a Razorpit blade sharpener & get roughly 6 weeks use from each blade.They shave as close if not closer than anything else I've tried & an added bonus is that cuts to the skin are rare, even with a new blade.Read full review

The jury is still out.

I'm a 74 year old who has been shaving for a long, long time. I bought these blades on line as they are much cheaper than the shops. After using the first 2 blades over a period of a week or so I began to doubt their authenticity, this was due to nicking myself twice, something I have not done for a long, long time; the first cut was quite bad. Since then I have been extra careful whilst shaving with what is left of the blades.
