Great product, just like a second skin.
This was a brilliant buy, I had split skin on a couple of fingertips due to my hands being in and out of water. I tried plasters but they kept falling off. With Germolene liquid skin, it was easy to apply, stayed put throughout washing, showering etc. and literally acted like a second skin. My fingertips healed up within a few days.Brilliant Product would highly recommend. The only downside is that it does take a time to dry, but well worth the wait.Read full review...

Back from old times
I just one day remembered that long back I use to have a bottle like this and how useful it was.
Bought this and it was even better than I remembered. Especially paper cuts, bad nail-beds and other small
wounds it is perfect. Stings for a second but seems to kill the bacteria and seal it. I.e. no
risk of smaller infections that makes these kind of cuts get red and pain a little bit later.
I also use it as a protective skin when got blisters and many other situations.
But be warned. If an open wound it stings like hell for a few seconds. Some just can't take
that kind of pain even for a short period. Also when the protective skin wear off it might look
like a bad sun burn and some can't resist to peel it off making the wound worse. For some
it might also feel a bit uncomfortable as the protective skin might stretch your skin
a bit.
Just ordering a new one, this is just so useful I would not be without it!Read full review...

New Skin
So very useful for protecting cuts in awkward areas where bandages etc, would be most unacceptable. It is great for sealing off hacks and preventing air penetrating which makes the healing process much quicker. Would'nt ever be without it, esp. in winter time. A great product! Good for old hands etc.
Getting old and the skin on the back of my hands tears too easy. Get it as dry as possible with the skin back in place. Apply a little at a time to build it up hey presto. Warning it can sting if there is an openening where the skin is not quite over the wound.Read full review...

Excellent for skinned heels
Tried it on my skinned heels after buying a new pair of shoes and after applying it I couldn't feel any pain when walking !
It is also good on places where an Elastoplast can't stick very well such as your knuckle (also not as conspicuous as a plaster). Read the instructions as you are not supposed to use it on open wounds.Read full review...

Great for little cuts.
This is great for those little cuts. My hands are worse in the winter for dry skin, so I always use this. Beware, it really stings, but not for long, & then you can get on with your day. I would definitely recommend this. Read full review...

At last
Due to moving my fingers had taken real punishment, kept splitting at the tips and around the nails every time they started to heal something else building or DIY'ing wise to do then back to square one.. Remembered liquid skin then find this and from a brand I trust so ordered straight away and glad I did. Clearing the cellar yesterday and if I didn't have it I would of had real problems..Read full review...

Great for keeping dirt out while wound heals
I remember my parents useing this product on my cuts & grasses when i was about 8/9 years old.It stung a bit when it was first put on but it kept the dirt ect out of the wound.
I was very suprised to see that it is still in use today,i am a man of 71 years.when aplied to a wound it lasts about three/four days before the edges start to lift, plenty of time for the healing process to finish its work.
I would recommend this product,it does what it sayes on the bottle.Read full review...
