New tech, old fashioned service.
Have been using one of the George Forman grills but without removable plates for several years . But my wife decided she would like one that could be put through a dishwasher, hence. Was bought in a .'new other. deal'. It is brand new unused, it was minus the original box but had been carefully repacked and it is really good. Plus the drip tray has been redesigned and now it clips onto the front of the grill , no more spilt grease or gravy. I have mentioned that it was bought in a 'new other' deal. this also meant that I was lucky enough to get a very substantial discount. Works well but basic
I love the George Forman range of grills and have had a few.
I wanted one with removable plates. But should have spent more because there is no tempeture control and it was advertised as fitting enough for family of five, but I would have said it's about enoughtfor three. Read full review

Ideal convenient addition to kitchen
Good size for the kitchen worktop, and for me the ideal size for the stuff I cook on such a grill. Ideal for paninis, toasted sandwiches, sausages and steaks/chicken fillets. This is the second one I have had and it's an improvement on the last one with a better base (it can be raised at the back to enable the fat to flow off) and a clip in fat collector. Gets to temperature quickly.
I prefer the removable plates , and these are now non stick covered on the underside too. Easy to clean.
