Good to locate position, record tracks, download routes

We bought this to replace a unit which I lost. We are very pleasd with the facility to load routes, either our own or those posted by other walkers.

This unit has good points and bad points. Good battery life (2AA) lasting 2 or more good days on the hill. Small screen difficult to read in strong sunlight. Complicated set of menus and functions tricky to control, difficult to remember and not intuitive. This is a top of the range unit and has many functions you may not use and a simpler model may be adequate.Read full review
