This is a substantial step up from the garmin edge 1000, yes its mire pricey but, you do get a lot more features such as, timed when to eat and, drink, a must for those who forget. Other features such as, as better display and, a brilliant battery life. My old Garmin 100 would not last especially with mapping on , this easily lasted 110 miles and more.Read full review

What I have always been looking for.

I did not know it but felt there must be something out there better than the small bike computers I was currently using. I heard, read and finally bought a second hand Garmin 1030 Plus and I am really pleased. It does things for me without being prompted and even works indoors with Zwift. No more cursing as Zwift drops out due to whatever and you lose the data you literally sweated for it's all there. Clear and easy to read while cycling and training plans galore to frighten you.
