Exc Product For DIVERTICULITIS & After My COLON CANCER!

I have had diverticulitis for years and recently COLON and APPENDIX CANCER! I had a small portion of the end of the large intestine along with the beginning "One Foot" of my small intestine removed due to developing "cancerous" polyps. Then while still operating they found a completely cancerous "Appendix" usually a result of cancerous colon.
Intestinal trouble, I'm pretty sure started when I took "Antibiotics" in my teens from constant bronchitis and sinusitis which ruined the intestinal lining and flora and thus led to the (diverticulosis) pockets. These pockets get particles in them and become inflamed thus the "itis"!
I have a BS in biology and have studied so much on the importance of the intestinal flora and the immune system. 70% to 80% of your immune system is located in the gut. This raw meal provides the perfect amount and quality nutrients along with pre and probiotics to keep your immune system running like a perfectly tuned engine. Diverticulitis is awful...cant eat anything without being near a bathroom which makes dating or parties kind of difficult. I swear this product is the first to really give me so much relief in over 30 years. Relief from the intense pain, bloating and sweating and repeated "runs" to the bathroom. Better than anything I ever tried. I mix it in the shakers, which the company hands out "Free", with Almond Milk which is so much better to digest than cows milk. Needs more calories, otherwise good

It has too few calories to be considered a meal replacement. At only 120 calories per serving, you’d need 5 servings to equal 1/3 of your daily average caloric intake (I was thinking to use this to replace an occasional lunch or breakfast, so it needs SOME calories). I think this product could use some added healthy sugars to help provide energy & flavor. Otherwise this product is very good and has all the things you would hope it would have; I think it’s just gone overboard in keeping sugar content down. You need to add your own calories, which sort of defeats the purpose of purchasing a meal replacement in the first place.Read full review
