lightweight easy to use & easy to change attachments

The unit is adequate, but some of the advertising is misleading. (To meet the 10ft suggested you need to be 6ft tall and that is only vertical height) the unit is only 5ft 7" total length so a 10ft reach horizontally is impossible unless you have very long arms!!!Read full review

Tip top trimmer
Coming from a petrol trimmer this gtech trimmer is lighter weight and far better balanced. I feel like a samuri warrior trimming the hedges. Cuts through most (have tried on privet, connifer, laural) with ease, only snagging (less than) expected on larger branches and joints. The battery goes on as long as I need it to, you have to stop at some point to tidy up the cuttings. Great product with excellent delivery and packaging.Read full review

At last a trimmer I can use myself!
This is light enough to use even with the battery , and I used it outstretched horizontally on a ladder to trim across neighbours side too! Good finish on privet for yearly cut and even trimming back older growth. Very good value as many trimmers require separate battery and charger and this includes all you need. Used it for the first time last week on my conifer hedge. The extension pole was excellent for doing the top and sides. I did find my arm ached the following day, maybe I wasn't holding the pole properly but the result was good and I probably will not have to cut the hedge again until autumn. An improved model, but....
This is certainly an improvement on the original model. Better quality and quieter. The only drawback is it has a long handle, not a telescopic one, as on the original. With the ability to shorten the handle, the original model made supporting its weight less strenuous. Read full review
