Best kit lens

I'll start off right away saying I would in no way pay the original MSRP for this lens, 700 is a tad much, especially since the 16-55 isn't much more expensive. I bought it for $300 and it's a wonderful lens for that money. Images are sharp and the difference between a constant 2.8 aperture and a 2.8-4 is negligible.Read full review

For the money it’s almost a prime.

It’s iq is equal to some primes and close enough to the others . Now if your truly a pro get primes for your shots but this zoom is more than enough for most people. I’m very pleased.
