Fujifilm FinePix S Series S3300 / S3350 14.0MP Digital Camera - Black

Great picture quality, excellent value and compact size for travel.

I needed a compact bridge camera for travelling and these are about as small as I could find. Bridge cameras generally offer better zoom, more control and better picture quality than compacts and this takes standard or re-chargeable AA batteries that can be found anywhere.

Picture quality on these is excellent, especially considering the price they can be had for. The CCD sensor is excellent on colour rendition and detail but somewhat lacking in dynamic range, low light performance and the amount of frames per second. These are small drawbacks considering their excellent value for money and compact size. They feel better in the hand than compacts and have a reasonably good viewfinder with all the relevant info when bright sunshine makes the screen difficult to see.
