Fujifilm Finepix A170 - Small and versatile

I bought this camera second hand for my grandson but my first Fujifilm Finepix A170 was bought in 2008 and is still in use.

This camera is simple to use and versatile. An ideal starter. Although you can easily control the settings to get specific results I favour the Auto setting. I can take good quality pictures without having to be too careful or knowledgeable.

One drawback, shared by many digital devices, is that it can be difficult in bright sunlight to see the image on your viewer screen.

Although the results are good the camera is small and light. Consequently easy to transport - fits in your pocket without fuss.

It takes a memory card - really that card is essential! Just slide the card into a card reader, plug it into your PC (or laptop) and all your photos are instantly available to view. The picture files can be quite large so a photo transfer facility ( ie Wetransfer) is useful when you want to e mail several of them to a contact.Read full review
