used the mower, today, for the first time. started first time. Even hot starting was no problem.
the cut on wet grass
was excellent. More than enough power for two medium sized lawns.
I cannot fault this machine, it represents outstanding value for money.

The good and the bad

The good: delivery was excellent - it comes in one big heavy box. Ideally two people needed to lift it out. It is relatively simple to set-up. The mower is heavy, but that is what you would expect, it looks well made and if cared for should last well. If you follow instructions as described it starts quite easily, but even with power drive not sure my wife would be happy to use it. The mulching mode - if cutting regularly and not trying to cut grass too short is great, very effective, which is what I wanted. I like the quad cut blades.

The bad: disappointing that they supply the mower with such poor quality accessories. The side discharge plate and the mulching plug are flimsy and I cannot see them lasting long. My first cut, when the grass was quite long, I used the side plate, it lightly brushed a tree trunk displaced itself from mower and broke.... also the mulching plug works well but it is flimsy plastic and will break easily if put in and out frequently. You can buy replacements but I have been informed they are of no better quality. Shame ... spoils a good mower. So 3 stars because of this - probably ongoing expense replacing parts.Read full review

Very impressed !! Powerful motor which means it won`t get bogged down. The quad cut blade slices through the grass effortlessly and the bag actually fills 100% . Also the hose attachment for cleaning is a great idea and does a good job.

Only minus I can find is that they drain the engine oil for delivery and don`t supply a replacement can to fill it up with once you get it.
