Great way of learning

Michel Thomas's method is great for getting a natural feel for the language and learn without effort. I love to learn that way. The price of this course is very reasonable. I am learning Italian mostly in the car while travelling at work.
One thing that I miss a bit, though I imagine that it is deliberate: it doesn't start off with learning things you learn ordinarily first when you learn a language, for example speaking about yourself, going shopping, I'm onto CD 4 of the introductory course and I can say quite complex things but can't go shopping yet or speak about who I am, who my friends and family are and what my house is like etc. do I am thinking of complementing this course with some other material that will teach me the basics of speaking about myself and asking others questions about themselves.Read full review

If you struggle with traditional learning styles then this is definitely worth a try. An audio course with no writing, exercises, books or homework. You learn by participating in a virtual classroom and slowly build sentences.
