A ‘doddle’ to set up.
The set up takes you through the whole process on screen, simply and quickly. The features provided are as good as those on the Virgin box it replaces. One minor issue is the rather restricted programme guide which only shows ‘Now & Next’ without having to scroll across. The picture quality is excellent. Very pleased with it. Read full review

Great product, pairing function not available just yet
This is an excellent quality product, however, I could not pair this with my smart phone so that I could use the phone as a remote control for the box, eventually a Freesat agent told me that the pairing function on 4K recordable boxes doesn't work yet! Was easy but time consuming to set up. however once that was done there was no problem using it However you cannot watch one channel and record on another at the same time I have no idea why

Very light & has lots of great functions and can hold many hours of recordings which are digitally displayed for playback. My previous box allowed you to copy recording from the box to an external device in MP4 format to be played on a PC, however, this box does not have that feature. I've had freesat many years after deciding I didn't want to pay any long to view. This box replaces a Humax it's a good compact unit that works very well with added features. Easy to install I do find the buttons on the hand set are very sensitive probably because large fingers. Two hundred channels free HD what more do you need. Buy one.Read full review

Item arrived swiftly, soon had it installed with new wideband LNB. Everything was straightforward, all features work as they should, four channels simultaneously included. There are many poor reviews online regarding the Freesat app, especially the app remote but even that is working perfectly, you just have to be a bit patient, it takes a little time to sync with the box.
