Fox 112326 52cc Petrol Earth Auger with Extensions

Great. Just great.

Fantastic. Had old wooden rotten fence posts 100x100mm snapped at ground level . The wood was so soft, I used the smallest auger fitting to chow through it and it cut through and pulled it all up in chips. Not exactly what they're designed for but it done it though no problem. Then widened the hole with the second size up (medium) of the three included for new post and crete.
Auger performed perfectly. Easy to start with one of those new style spring loaded pull cord systems where it doesn't hurt your hand/arm when starting. Its soft to pull and it builds in tension before unloading all the tension at once to start the engine. Choke works great.
Not much to report. Cheap, works great, exactly as you would hope. Make life much easier.

The only thing I would say is they're only really for new hole. If you had a fence post before, it likely had concrete base. Obviously these can't go through concrete. So they're more for new holes, or widening after using a breaker for concrete base removal.

Purchased this Auger and have used it for 2 days putting in 100mm and 125mm posts around 35 of them . Handled the job really well, quiet little to use but you do need to be relatively strong to handle it.
