Insignia steering rack revival

Bought a used insignia. It had horrendous noise and vibration through entire car when moving the steering wheel, even a small amount. I was advised it needed new power steering pump. After replacing, condition was still the same. Took it to an independent garage who diagnosed a faulty steering rack. The mechanic told me to try this product first... He said he has had success previously with it. Followed instructions and added to power steering fluid. After approx 20 miles of driving, all vibration through the car had stopped, but still a little bit of noise. A further week of driving (approx 125miles) and the noise has also stopped. I don't know what it has done or how it has worked, but it seems to have sorted my issues.... For now. I hope it lasts, and has saved me £400 for a new steering rack.Read full review

Waste of money

I had great hope for this treatment,after watching several videos on YouTube,and it seemed to reduce noise immediately.I had a slight noise problem, so I changed the power steering oil, flushed out the system as shown on the videos, put new oil in plus the Forte, and it was still the same , noisy. After a week of driving around nothing changed, so had a new power steering pump fitted, now it's quite! Maybe if I was given a free sample,I would add it to the steering fluid to hopefully help reduce wear, but for me it was a waste of money.Read full review
