Great compact mower

I bought this after moving from a much larger house and garden. My petrol mower was too big and cumbersome to use in my new smaller garden. Initially I bought a second hand flymo which was in good condition but stopped working after a year.
Having had flymos in the past I liked their versatility.

So I bought this much newer version. It folds down into quite a small unit. So takes up little storage space.
It cuts reasonably well and easy to unload the grass cuttings.
The flymo has been a great asset and don't intend to get rid of it even if I move to a house with a larger garden.Read full review

Good -BUT !!

The lowest cutting setting, cuts too high until the grass collector is half full. Then you have to re-do where you started mowing to get lawn looking okay. Other than that the mower is good to use.

The lead isn't as long as my previous Flymo. It doesn't adjust to a very short cut but that's probably me. Overall easy to use, light to push.

Well designed, but heavier than I expected

Great replacement for my qualcast hover mower, which had died. Well designed and easy to assemble and use particularly like the easy way to adjust cutting hight, no need to remove blade and fit or remove spacers as on previous hover mower, also having a fitted cable ties system and see through grass collection box, brilliant. The mover weighs more than I expected which might make it difficult to move for those with limited lifting abilities.Read full review

Excellent lightweight good value mower

This replaced a 15 year old Flymo that was just starting to fall apart and no longer hovered. This mower is an excellent replacement, and cuts the grass really well, but I do miss the feature on my previous Mower which had the ability to wind back the cable to store it on top of the mower box lid. The cable is a lot shorter. But these are minor quibbles. If it lasts as long as my previous Flymo I will be delighted. Read full review

Great quality, high performance, low price 👌

Bought this mower to cut extra long, uneven clumps of grass in a large garden.
I did not expect it to do such a good job.
The safety mechanism ensures that the machine cuts off, to prevent overheating. This lasts about an hour and a half, before you can turn on the mower again.
After the work that it carried out, on my mum's lawn, who can begrudge a rest 😴

not very good machine

Very disappointed with this flymo as I did not notice when buying that you cannot adjust the cutting height of the blade as you can with other flymo machines,you can adjust with a fixed front adjuster,but the other way using spacer discs to lower or higher the blade does not exist,wrong purchase,very poor design by flymo,because the blade does not cut low enough Read full review
