I was VERY sceptical......

I was VERY sceptical about this product and it was qute expensive.... BUT.

PRO's.
When I got it I was still sceptical, But I (unusually) read the instructions whein seemed pretty easy.. And it is!

Long story short, I used as directed, to refix some loos floor tiles in my Ensuite. one had come COMPLETELY adrift! The tiles cost a LOT of money and cracked/ came loose as out new house settled. They were stuck directly to the subfloor and we have underfloor heating, so ripping it all up would have been a NIGHTMARE.

24 hours after useing as directed... I have to admit I was VERY VERY IMPRESSED!!

Cons;
really I cannot complain about this product. But just be aware of the following.

The tube I used only did about half the job,( but WHAT A JOB!)
So be prepared to pump in as much as you need, it will still be cheaper buy more than to re-tile.

It is VERY VERY VERY runny so remember to have a wet cloth handy and to put your finger over the end of the nozzle as quickly as you can when going from one hole to the next.

I have now ordered a second tube to finish the job as I am certain this has sorted my problems.

Far from being *expensive*, compared to the costs and work involved in re tiling the floor, this is a VERY cheap alternative!

SO glad I discovered this product and ignored my sceptical side.

(I am a property maintenance engineer working on a large commercial site so I spend 5 days a week repairing buildings. I have used some rubbish products / tools etc. over the years ,but this is the Daddy!!!

Not suitable for all type of installation.

Doesn’t work well with tiles that have damaged grouting as it spreads everywhere but under the tile.

Doesn’t work on large format tiles.

Doesn’t’ advise on the size the hole required and you have to fully close the gaps in order that it doesn’t go anywhere.

The liquid is too thin and ends up coming out the back for the tube if the pressure is too much when in use.

Will only work if the tiles are set up perfectly as shown in the website videos.

This stuff is just PVA.

In my opinion its better just to lift the tile and lay again.

Works well, but application could be cleaner

It works well! Inject through small holes in the grout and it fills up any voids. It is satisfying seeing the adhesive ooze from neighbouring holes as you pump it in!

As it is (and has to be) quite runny (similar consistency to PVA glue), It could do with a better applicator that automatically cuts the flow when removed from the hole, to prevent spillage. You have to quickly cover the end with your finger as you move from hole to hole.

I also had some leakage from the back on one of the tubes, not sure if it was the tube or if I was pumping too hard, but I ended up in quite a mess!

You potentially need quite a lot (I had to use half a tube just fixing one slate) so could work out expensive for large floors, although probably still cheaper, quicker and easier than re-laying the whole floor!

It would be better sold in larger (better value) containers, e.g. 5 litres, with a refillable purpose designed 'no leak' applicator.

Overall, very glad I found this product because it did the job!

Look no further for a tile repair solution.

Easy to use, far better than lifting tile, cleaning tile and area then replacing with tile adhesive. When application holes are regrouted ( which is also easy as you only need a little mixed in an old yogurt tube) the job is as good as new.Read full review

Does what it says perfectly

A few tiles in my ensuite bathroom became loose and I knew calling out a professional to come and fix will be costly. I came across this product online and read a few reviews. I was encouraged to buy it and that is the best decision I made. The product is easy to use and sticks the tiles back perfectly. Great for novices who want to fix loose tiles quickly and at low cost. Highly recommended! Read full review

Worked a treat, seems to have stuck down really well.

Ordered one tube to give it a try, followed instructions, and so far its stuck down really well, we have solid oak flooring that had popped up in a couple of places, were going to order another tube.. We weighed out boards down with Accrington house bricks and left it for a full 24 hours to allow the glue to set. The glue is exactly as described and we drilled just a hole small enough for the nozzle to fit, we did drill several holes which you cant see, Ive not yet filled the holes in with filler but weve had no problems.Read full review

Loose tile

Had a loose/ clicky floor tile on newly laid kitchen floor. Really concerned, I looked online and found this product. Read the reviews and decided to order. Used as per instructions - which was really easy and 24 hrs later, no more loose tile and a solid floor. Really impressed.Read full review

Not as easy as just drilling a couple of holes...

Not as easy as just drilling a couple of holes and feeding the adhesive under the tile, but it did the trick. In my case needed a lot of holes and the adhesive needed to drip feed which took a long time to do. It did work though and the tiles seem secure again.Read full review

Works on quarry tiles

I had loose quarry tiles in the kitchen, and the grout was progressively wearing away due to vibration. The fix-a-floor certainly fixed the tiles so they don't move at all now. The next step will be to re-do the grout for cosmetic purposes.
There was not enough space between the tiles to drill holes in the grout as recommended in the Fix-a-floor instructions, but it flowed into the existing gaps OK. When it is set it becomes clear and shiny, and I plan to sand off any visible bits between the tiles before I do the grout. [Most of it is under the tiles, but a little bit is visible between two of the most closely-spaced tiles].
It came with a resealable cap, and I used only half, so I have put it away in the shed and if the tiles work loose in any other areas I hope it will still be usable.I think the tiles I have fixed will be good forever.

Sorted my loose tiles!

I had 3 500mm square tiles that had come loose in their corners and gave a popping noise when trod on. Using a 2.5mm drill I drilled a few holes in the grout and injected this stuff in. Beware it is messy and a lot will end up on top of the tiles, so have sponge and bucket of water ready to wipe the mess up. 24 hours later though and with the tiles weighted down with buckets full of about 10ltr of water while it dried, the tiles were stuck down solid and over 2 weeks later they are still just as good.Read full review
