Definitely Worth It!

Seemed like quite a bit for a pair of scissors - but definitely worth it!
I took the risk because Fiskars have a good name and I hoped it would be maintained by this item.
It was!
They are of robust stainless construction. The metal is thicker than usual and very rigid. They are sharp of course, and close inspection of the blade edges and the joint suggest that this will be maintained. Comfortable too - which makes their use much more pleasant.

Best scissors

I use them for everything! Better than pruning shears for garden, go straight through bone when cutting chicken into pieces...in fact they are amazing. Last pair I had for over 30 years but I threw them away in bag of garden refuse....I trawled the net until I found an identical pair...brought a pair last year and now have brought another pair for the kitchen. Best kitchen scissors

Had my last pair over 30 years and my own fault for trying to cut through a thickish wire and bent the blades so they didn’t meet properly. Replacement for a pair we lost

Our previous pair of these has served well ever since we had them. The hand grip is comfortably shaped. The blade shape makes them better than convential scissors for all sorts of small kitchen and garden tasks, the notch being particularly useful for cutting thinner stems.Read full review

It certainly pays to buy quality and these scissors are no exception.
Ultra sharp and precise and good value. Hopefully will retain a good edge but too early to comment.
