Mmmm

Although there is nothing in terms of quality of the produce re materials used, the machine does not work as smoothly as we anticipated. It delivers too much food to the fish. Bought it as we wanted to use it while we were away on hols but unable to due the quantity of food it administers. Far too much for a bog standard pond (mine is 8ft x 14ft) so now unable to use it. Manufacturer either needs to find a way for it to administer reduced amounts of food or make it clearer as to the amount it does administer.Read full review

great idea

Just what you need to look after the fish whilst on holiday. Setting up was not so easy. Three timer settings . I have not yet put it out to use outdoors but tested it indoors . It struggled to dispense flaked fish food but was good with pellets. I will be using good quality batteries but not sure how long they will continue to work for. Replacement feeder.

I bought this to replace another manufactures pond feeder (which was useless) so I was very pleased, as it is very easy to set up and has been running for two weeks thru rain and sun and has worked perfectly.
The helical screw ensures that the food does not get clogged up.
Also setting and changing feeding times and quantity is easy.

i tried other cheaper models but its worth paying extra for this as it works. reliable and whilst not easy to program it does the job. the auger is a better system as it dispenses every time.

This is my second Fishmate 7000. Easy to programme and lots of options.
Over a number of years, the screen membrane can become brittle and crack, letting in water.
