Festool KS60 E-SET 240V Kapex Sliding Compound Mitre Saw

Reassuring quality

Having used many other chop saws over a larger number of years than I can admit I can honestly say the festool kapex ks60 is probably the most accurate and accomplished machines I have had the pleasure to use, it's very smooth in operation and controllable with a large degree of accuracy and a fine cut even with a coarse blade.
The Gucci family slogan states "quality is remembered long after the price is forgotten "
This is that slogan all over in the flesh.
I am reminded that around 20 years ago I paid £500.00 approximately for a festool 55 plunge saw, it is still working today battered but still accurate and strong in performance there is a crack in the casing and I have had several rubber edges on the straight edge but as expensive as it was it is still good today and so useful in many different ways.
