Fender Big Block MiM/Squier

This tremolo is a substantial tone enhancement over the stock cast saddle thin zinc bridge on my Squier Strat. Unfortunately, i had to ream the body cut out to get it to fit and it is decked/non functional.Read full review

Big improvement.

Like everyone says, it make my guitar sound much better. I put it in a Squier Affinity that had Seymore Duncan humbuckers in it and it sounds like a different guitar now. I had to sand off 1/4" off the bottom and re-drill the spring holes because a Squier is thinner than a Mexican strat. Otherwise it fits perfectly.Read full review

Next to pickups the best upgrade for a cheapo strat. Hands down..

Installed into a 1999 Fender Starcaster. Bridge is really a necessary upgrade for the cheapo asian strat. Fits right in using the narrow 52.5mm screw spacing. Buy it!!

Big and heavier than steel ! Awesome!

This is the 3rd one I've purchased. Used in 3 different brands od guitars with great results. Some need cavity modification because this block is wider than the steel block that fenders uses. I'm not a big fan of bent steel saddles so I change to solid steel or roller saddles. That choice is yours. If your into vintage vibe all the way the fender stamped bent saddles are ready to go. This trem guarantees to add sustain to any guitar that it is installed in. Great value here!

Upgrade tremolo with full size block

Looks to be well made , Fender product mount holes all line up has large / full size block , I have not installed it yet I am waiting on other parts to do a full mod on an older Squier Strat. Just an fyi it is less expensive to replace this quality Fender product than to buy a block from aftermarket source and install into the Squier tremoloRead full review

Don't waste your time and money

This bridge does not come with the tremolo bar. You must purchase it separately. The cost is outrageous. The sustain block where the strings pass through needs to be altered in size so that it will fit appropriately, along with having to modify the opening of the guitar body itself. Unless you are a skilled technician, I would avoid this option to replace the unacceptable light-weight bridges you find on so many Strat copies. Even the imported Strats are not manufactured to the specs you would expect from Fender.Read full review

block too tall

This is a fine product, BUT, I got it to upgrade a Squire, have done this several times, getting a big block, stamped saddles, makes it sound more strat. But this one may work for a Made In Mexico Fender strat, as they are thicker bodies, but narrow bridge. But they already come with this block and saddles- they should advise dont put on a squier.
After installing it, sounds great, but is a liitle thicker than the squier strat body, Ill never be able to put the spring cover back on. About a 1/16th", this was cheaper, but not if I take all apart, and get to a machinist to mill down. Callaham, and the pricy retrofits dont do this, this is a shortcut with a price tag.

Fender system one tremillo bridge

This product was built in Germany for the fender company in Japan this item help get fender out of a financial situation in the earl 80s this was one of the futures on the fender strat also to keep up with Eddy Van Halins style of playing. It is said when the manager of fender went to Japan and that he started crying stated "this fender strat. and its system one tremillo and the help from Japan and Germany are one of the best Straticaster we ever put out to market....Read full review
